4 modules that can be completed in 4 months to ~1 year, depending on each child’s age and dedication. After finishing all modules, students may start live online piano lessons.

Below are answers to the most frequent questions we’ve received so far.

Do I need prior music or piano knowledge?

No. Both children and adults can learn together from scratch.

Is the course worth it if we already have some musical background?

Yes, you can accelerate as needed. If your child already reads music fluently, has strong ear training, knows some composer history, can play passages on piano, and recognises key musical styles from the past three centuries, consider our online piano lessons instead.

Is there a teacher available or is it pre-recorded only?

The PianoClass for Kids course is video-based, but you can email questions anytime. With Teacher Support, a teacher actively follows your progress, providing follow-ups, feedback, Office Hours, certificate, and report.

How long is the course?

It contains 4 modules, typically lasting 4 months to ~1 year, depending on your child’s pace. After completion, live online lessons are available.

How long is each lesson?

The videos are always short. However, total lesson time depends on each child’s speed. Younger kids may take longer; older kids often progress more quickly.
Each practice day will be faster as they become more confident with the activities.

How many days per week should we practise?

Usually 1 lesson day + 4–5 practice days. Most children love practicing daily once they get the hang of it.

What if we travel?

Many activities don’t require a piano. Bring your materials (physical or digital), and continue at your own pace.

What if we have a question?

You can email us anytime. With Teacher Support, simply ask your teacher. A real piano teacher will guide and assist the adults too.

Do I keep access to the videos after finishing a module?

Yes. Once purchased, you have indefinite access to the module’s videos and materials for use within your immediate family.

Can multiple children use the same course?

Yes, if they’re in the same immediate family. Please purchase an additional module if you add a child from a different family who will take materials home.

May I cancel any module I haven’t started?

No. All purchased modules are delivered at once, so there’s nothing to cancel afterward.
